Red Light Camera Captures Ron Paul “Terrorist”
The Anti-Patriot Surveillance Grid is creeping in. Red Light cameras are but just one new avenue of Big Brother to gain access to your activities, all the while dumping millions of dollars into private contractor’s hands. The capitalistic shark feeding frenzy mechanism will ensure that larger profits will lead to an exponential increase in this invasion of privacy on that facet alone.
While people’s heads are still reeling over what’s here now, they are largely unaware of the future networked grid being piece-mealed into place one camera and one sensor at a time. In this latest red-light escapade, a missing 0.1 second delay between amber and red is all that was needed for the red-light machinery to generate some revenue. A car that crosses the white line (“stop bar”) on amber has legally entered the intersection; shortening the timing will increase the number of cars illegally entering the intersection. It is unknown if this intersection has had its timing manipulated, but in many cases the amber (“yellow”) times have been shortened around the country to produce an increase in revenues. You can request “timing sheets” and “conflict monitor” test reports on any intersection in the United States by contacting your local department of transportation. Engineers are generally required to keep updated copies in the signal cabinet and at the office. Shortening the timing is an unsafe practice because it often violates minimum federal safety standards. The federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD – pronounced “MUTT-SID”) specifies minimum amber times based on the grade (more time for downhill stops) and the speed of normal traffic. http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/pdfs/2003r1/pdf-index.htm
Aside from the numerous court cases and legal requirements to have a physical officer at the scene to issue a ticket, it’s the trend of what’s happening we need to look at. You can fight this in the courts now, but what is going on is technology is moving faster than your rights can be wiped out permanently in the court system. Eventually they’ll get that leak in the dike fixed and permanently plugged up – it’s just a matter of time. In other words, your remedy in the courts will be exterminated.
This particular incident was captured by one of the ATS AXSIS machines. Look at the deployment map and more info on their website:http://axsis.com/

AXSIS has a revenue collecting website, https://www.violationinfo.com/, where you can enter your notice number you received in the mail, and then you can pay online (for an additional $4 convenience fee) with your Visa or Mastercard. Moreover, they have cleverly wrote the ordinance in this case to allow these fines to be non-point, non-moving violations so that they can reap the largest amount of cash. It’s made convenient enough to just pay it without fighting it. (Hazelwood, MO: Hazelwood City Traffic code section 315.095).

As we become more like mother England every day, our laws will bend in conformity with the bow-shock wave of the lead duck, in this case, Big Brother. Most people haven’t seen Megapixel cameras yet, or even know they exist, but they are already everywhere and getting better every day. Most people also have no idea about the existence of Video Analytics (VA), but it too is already everywhere. What people really don’t get is the power of the two married together – absolutely no clue.
You want to see what the latest CCTV megapixel surveillance cameras look like, visit Arecont Vision’s image and video clip gallery: http://arecontvision.com/index.php?section=gallery&s_fk_category_id=7 and you’ll see what I mean. These aren’t broadcast or photography images, they are from a standard security video surveillance camera!
There are many manufacturers with Video Analytics, but you can get a good handle on what it is and does by visiting ioimage’s demo website: http://www.ioimage.com/?p=Demos&ClusterID=0&TreeParentID=861&MainCategory=444&ParentID=642
ioimage has the technology to command a pan-tilt-zoom camera to automatically move to track a person – without the need for a human operator!
When all of these technologies are combined, along with facial recognition and character/object recognition (license plate readers, people/car detectors), merged with evolving networks that will put any location at any time under the scrutinizing eye of some machine – we are in big trouble. If you could only educate the sheeple who think “…well there aren’t enough people to spy on all of us all the time.”
