Manly P. Hall, 33 degree Freemason acclaimed as the twentieth century’s greatest Masonic scholar, wrote in his book, The Secret Destiny Of America, that architecture plays a key role in the alchemy of human control. Indeed, says Hall, as far as the secret societies and their hidden lord are concerned, architecture is “the chosen instrument for the perpetuation of the Grand Design - the building of the perfect world.” Source: Texe Marrs
